Tawana Williams is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been working in the Mental Health field for over 20years. She gracefully attained her skills over the years to become a better provider for her patients. After working as a Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor she was excited to dive deeper into her studies and become more hands on with patient care. She graduated with her Masters from Herzing University with a 3.9 G.P.A, and studied intently and carefully. She wanted to grasp and comprehend diagnostic criteria for Mental health disorders and the vast varieties of treatment options. She has experience working with ages 12-78 year olds, that suffered from a variety of mood disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, SI/SH, ADHD, trauma, and other co-occurring mental health disorders. She believes every patient is the most important member on the care team and that each individual should be treated with the respect that aligns with their core values
